Vintage 1949 Low Back Ernest Race DA 2 Chair Armchair new Upholstery

This is a fantastic example of the classic, hard to find Ernest Race DA2 armchair.
It has just been reupholstered in a vintage new old stock 1960s 100% wool fabric, it looks like it’s just left the factory.
There is probably not a better example out there.
The reupholstery of this chair is incredibly difficult and complex, everything is hand stitched, no staples here.
Beautiful design from the renowned British designer Ernest Race.
Beautiful quality and style and extremely comfortable, this is a real unique statement piece
